The two-year Adv. Dip course prepares graduates for drafting and design, but there are also a lot of process and systems issues to get your head around. This session takes you through all the steps along between signing up a new client and the commencement of Class 1a and 10a construction.

Learning Outcomes
At the end of the session, participants will:
• Broadly understand roles and responsibilities within Victoria’s construction permit system
• Broadly understand how the NCC, Australian Standards and Victoria’s Building Regulations and Planning Scheme interact
• Know the key steps involved in designing, documenting and acquiring permits for Class 1a and 10a construction.
