Window Film: A retrofit efficiency solution - Functional application of Window Films for Energy Efficiency

1 EHA Technical or 1 TPA NatHERS technical CPD points  - Discover how window film can improve building energy performance and contribute to achieving energy efficiency targets. This session examines the role of window film in energy assessments, covering key performance metrics including U-value, TSER, SHGC, and the influence of site-specific conditions. Through practical case studies, participants will see how these principles translate into real-world energy savings and learn to confidently interpret WERS for Film rating tables—the Australian Government-endorsed energy rating system for windows and window film—to support informed specification and energy assessment.
