Design Matters National’s CEO Danielle Johnston will walk you through the itinerary of the 6-night design experience from 10–16 November 2025, where architecture, culture, and connection will converge, and then open for questions.

Set in Auckland (Tamaki Makaurau), New Zealand’s largest city (Aotearoa) known as the “City of Sails," the 2025 DMN NZ Study Tour will offer a rare opportunity to explore a place where cutting-edge design meets rich Maori heritage and breathtaking natural landscapes of harbours, beaches, and volcanic hills.

Alongside architectural highlights, the journey will extend to the surrounding areas of Long Bay, Piha, Waiheke Island, and Titirangi Beach, just to name a few. Each destination offers its own distinctive beauty and inspiration.

Participants will also experience the iconic Haka up close during a Maori cultural experience at one of Auckland's most stunning Maraes a sacred meeting ground.
