An introduction to FirstRate5

  • Must be an accredited TPA with Design Matters.
  • Have access to a laptop with the version of FirstRate5 that is selected, loaded to bring to the workshop.
  • Completion of an assessment exercise prior to the workshop. Failure to do so by the designated date, forfeits your position in the workshop with no refund.


Step 1: Assessment

  • Three weeks prior to the workshop, registrants will be provided a set of documentation to complete an assessment in a specified version of the software.
  • This assessment typically takes up to five hours to complete.

Step 2: Submit File

  • The completed assessment must be submitted (Preview Certificate & FRATE file) three working days prior to the workshop.
  • Failure to lodge the assessment by the deadline, means you forfeit your position in the workshop with no refund.
  • The facilitator will analyse provided assessments and tailor the workshop to best address issues identified in the exercise.

Step 3: Workshop

  • Bring a laptop with the appropriate version of FirstRate5 loaded.
  • Bring the completed assessment also loaded.
  • The assessment exercise will be reviewed in a slide presentation by the facilitator examining all relevant features at this level.
