About the Presenter

Mike Ward is the National Marketing and Business Development Manager of Australian Glass Group and has a passion for high performing, energy efficient, double glazing.

Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, he has experienced the benefits first hand from significant building codes that required double glazing as standard…13 years ago. Relocating to Melbourne in 2018 to work for AGG he has now experienced the disadvantages of existing poor performing windows. Michael has 9 years’ experience in both the NZ and Australian glass industry starting with his first role managing Australia for global glass manufacturer Guardian Glass and it is here where he learnt about the amazing features and benefits that high performing coated low-e glass has to offer.
Michael is a certified AFRC simulator of full frame performance and a member of the AFRC Technical Advisory Committee and a strong supporter of education in the area of energy efficient glazing and NCC code changes that support the use of higher performance in glazing.
