HERO Software Introductory Workshop

Event Overview 

This intensive workshop is tailored for those using or considering using HERO software. This interactive session provides technical guidance and capability in proficient use of this software and participation is equal to 9 NatHERS technical CPD points

REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION:

  • Must have completed HERO Training
  • Must have access to a laptop with the latest version of HERO installed and bring to the workshop.
  • Must complete pre-work exercise prior to the workshop. Failure to do so by the designated date may forfeit your position in the workshop without refund.

REQUIRED PREPARATION:

Step 1: Assessment

  • Three weeks prior to the workshop, registrants will be provided with a set of documentation to complete an assessment in a specified version of the software.
  • The assessment should not take more than 4-5 hours to complete.

Step 2: Submit file

  • The completed assessment must be submitted (including a preview NatHERS certificate and .HERO software file) three working days prior to the workshop.
  • Failure to lodge the assessment by the deadline means you forfeit your position in the workshop with no refund.
  • The facilitator will analyse each assessment and tailor the workshop to best address issues identified in the exercise.

Step 3: Workshop

  • Bring a laptop with the latest version of HERO installed.
  • Bring the completed assessment to check and/or make changes during the workshop.
  • The assessment exercise will be reviewed in a slide presentation by the facilitator examining all relevant features at this level.

Matthew Graham

Matthew Graham is Principal of Graham Energy and an experienced subject matter expert in the Nationwide House Energy Rating Scheme. Matthew is a long-term accredited TPA, Trainer, TAC member and recognised Mentor in AccuRate, BERS Pro, FirstRate5 and HERO.

CPD Points: 9 NatHERS Technical CPD point. This will be recorded in Design Matters Members' CPD Manager within 5 business days following the event.
