TZCC Live Information and Live Q&A

27/02/2024 - 4.00 PM - 5.00 PM AEDT

The True Zero Carbon Challenge presents a "Professional Development on steroids" opportunity for Building Designers and Energy Efficiency Assessors. Join us to learn why you should consider joining the Challenge event and leap frog into designing the homes of the future.

Who Should Attend?
All members who want to know more about the innovative True Zero Carbon Challenge should come along to this live Q&A where all will be revealed.
Presented by TZCC founder, Jeremy Spencer along with past Challenge participants Griff Morris and Melanie Lupus who will share their TZCC journey.

This challenge will not only furnish entrants with the necessary skills to thrive in the coming decades but will pave the way in showing the industry a roadmap to true Net Zero housing. At this juncture when the industry is arguing the benefits of moving to a 7 star Whole of House standard, this competition will be a pivotal beacon to show what is possible and to let the industry know that Design Matters members are ready, willing, and able to meet the challenges of the low carbon future.

Attendees will:

  • Hear from past participants about their experience and the invaluable learning tool they found the Challenge to be.
  • The unique professional development opportunities embedded in the practical application of expanding sustainability and livability standards.
  • Learn about the array of training materials and calculation tools and templates developed for TZCC entrants.
  • Get your head around Whole of Home and Embodied Carbon
  • How to meet the rising demand for more beautiful cost effective, comfortable, low/no operational cost homes of the future.
  • Learn how to find a partner to join the Challenge with.
