Tori Walker
Building Energy Ratings and Advice

Tori Walker is the Principal Consultant at BERA (Building Energy Ratings and Advice).  She has been involved in the design of homes for over 15 years and has worked with Building Designers, Architects, Builders and Energy Assessors both professionally and personally during this time.  Victoria has completed a Certificate IV in NatHERS Assessments and is accredited with Design Matters National.  She enjoys helping clients understand and maximise the energy efficiency of their homes.

Paul Worroll
Reddog

Paul has been a qualified architect since 1992 and is experienced in both the business and practice of architecture. Paul strongly believes in the positive impact that architecture has on place and its community, and it is this passion that continues to drive him to stay relevant in an ever evolving industry. Paul has a strong ethos of giving back to the architectural community, through membership of the AIA chapter council and sustainability committee, via community speaking engagements and through mentoring architectural students.

Paul’s expertise within practice lies in the overseeing and directing of large-scale projects, and he gets an enormous sense of accomplishment from bringing design concepts to fruition from their inception. Paul also enjoys the relationship building of small project architecture and education clients on the benefits of using an architect. He is driven to utilising sustainable practices and improving our understanding of our environment impact in the design and building process.

Jeremy Salmon
Jeremy Salmon Architecture

Jeremy Salmon has been the principal of Jeremy Salmon Architects since 1993. The practice focuses on new houses and renovations and has an impressive body of work predominately located in Southeast Queensland. Projects in Northern Queensland, NSW and Victoria have also been completed. Jeremy’s commitment to accessible sustainable solutions that can be enjoyed by the residents for many years has been recognised through architectural commendations and the Harry Marks Award for Sustainable Architecture. Our current motivation is maximum transformation from minimum change.

Rebecca Steffanoni
Big Ass Fans

Rebecca came to Big Ass Fans with a Bachelor of Business and Commerce and has been with the company for six years with experience working across the residential, commercial and industrial markets. Her special interest in passive design and sustainability led Rebecca to help develop Big Ass Fans growth in new construction and retrofit projects where energy efficiency is key.

Rebecca received technical training at corporate headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky and she enjoys assisting architects, designers and engineers in making their projects more sustainable through Big Ass Fans' ability to reduce construction costs, minimise ductwork, increase comfort and lower energy costs.

Michael Ross

Michael is a founding Partner of MR Building Design. Having graduated QUT in 2012, he has extensive experience across a broad range of projects, with his early years focused on both residential and commercial. Today, Michael focuses on his passion in residential designs, such as new homes and Queenslander renovations, in addition to his expert knowledge of commercial and educational fit out projects.

Michael’s passion for design began from a young age. He often found himself on construction sites as his parents always built their own homes, which lead to Michael developing a passion for design. Michael says one of the most rewarding aspects of being a building designer, is seeing the end result. Standing in front of a home that you designed is extremely satisfying, but watching clients’ faces as their dreams are made into reality is priceless.

Nathan Boyd
Breezway

Nathan started with Breezway a little over 8 years ago in a technical sales capacity, which saw him offering design advice and consultation to designers, specifiers, engineers and certifiers alike. Having developed a strong understanding of window compliance and the benefits that louvres as a window type can offer, including in realm of energy efficiency, Nathan now serves the business as Product Manager. In this role he works alongside Breezway’s talented, in-house R&D team to bring exciting and innovative new louvre products to market, adding to Breezway’s long and rich history.
