Karen Sutherland - Lochinvar Landscapes Pty Ltd T/as Edible Eden Design

Karen Sutherland has a lifetime of experience growing her own food. Twelve years ago, she started Edible Eden Design, focusing on edible and useful plants.

Trained at Melbourne Zoo, Burnley College and a Permaculture Design Certificate with Bill Mollison, she continues to learn from her own garden laboratory, ‘Gunyah’ in inner Melbourne. Gunyah is a flourishing urban food forest of 200 edible and useful plants from all over Australia, South America and Europe.

Karen self-published and co-wrote ‘Tomato Know Sow Grow Feast’ in 2018, writes for Organic Gardener and Green magazines and is a regular on Melbourne radio.
