TPA Meet-up & Scorecard Update

19/08/2021 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM AEST

Event Overview:

Join this TPA Meet-up to learn and ask questions about the launch of the National Residential Efficiency Scoredcard, what it is, where it’s applicable and how to become accredited.

The Residential Efficiency Scorecard, run by the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, in the Victorian Government, has been a unique program providing an energy star rating for homes in Victoria for many years.

Trailed Nationally during 2019/20, the Scorecard Residential Efficiency tool is set to become available Nationally in the coming months.

In the same way as a fridge or washing machine has a star rating, a Scorecard rating shows how much energy is used throughout a home. The star rating provides an easy-to-understand snapshot of how a home copes with Australia’s varying weather conditions.

This allows comparison of a home’s energy use with other similar homes and the ability for the homeowner to quickly see how to save money on bills.

The Scorecard program, available for years in Victoria, has successfully built a strong assessor community delivering thousands of assessments in the field. As the program prepares to move into its next phase, this webinar will provide an:

• Introduction to National Residential Efficiency Scorecard
• Overview of the recent National Scorecard Field Trial
Overview of the rollout of the National Residential Efficiency Scorecard
• Insight into upcoming and future priorities.
